Q: My horse isn’t eating anything (even just 1 meal)?

A: Call the clinic immediately. This can be a sign of Colic which can be life threatening.

 

Q: When should my new puppy or kitten get their first vaccinations?

A: First vaccinations should be given at around 6 to 8 weeks of age.

 

Q: When should I spay or neuter my dog?

A: We recommend these procedures at 6 months or older, especially for large breed dogs.

 

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

 

Q: Do you offer Care Credit?

A: We do not offer Care Credit services at this time.

 

Q: Are you an emergency clinic?

A: We are not an emergency clinic.

 

Q: Do you treat exotic animals?

A: We do not offer veterinary services for exotic animals.

 

Q: Are boarding services available at the clinic?

A: We do not offer boarding services except for those animals which may need to be kept under observation after a procedure.

 

Q: Do you offer Vaccination Clinics?

A: We do offer a vaccination clinic on the 2nd Saturday of every month (except August) from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Tehachapi Humane Society offices (21600 Golden Star, Unit # 3, Tehachapi, CA 93561).
