Billingsley Veterinary Clinic is a mixed practice and has state of the art medical equipment, both in the clinic and our mobile medical unit. The mobile unit is made especially for house calls in Tehachapi and the greater Antelope Valley area. Appointments are required.

How to Access Veterinary Services

New Clients

We are currently welcoming new clients. However, pets must be established patients and remain up to date on annual wellness care to qualify for emergency services

Emergency Services

• Emergency services are available for established clients only, pending Dr. availability

• We are not a 24/7 emergency facility

• To check holiday hours or scheduling availability, please call our office 661-823-8381

• Our after-hours emergency line, 661-428-3416, is not monitored between  10:00pm and 6:30am

• All emergency cases are triaged based on medical urgency. Non life threatening concerns may experience longer wait times or lower priority.

 

Prescription Refills
For prescription services

• Pets must have been examined by the veterinarian within the past year

• Please allow 2-3 business days for refill requests

• Written prescriptions are available upon request, written prescriptions are to be sent by owners directly to the pharmacy of their choice

• To ensure our team can focus on patient care, we are unable to process refill requests directly from online pharmacies by phone, fax or computer

As a general practice, we focus on preventative care and routine medical needs. Please note that we are not an emergency clinic. Like many veterinary practices nationwide, we are experiencing the challenges of a veterinary professional shortage. This situation underscores the importance of establishing a strong client-patient relationship with your veterinarian. Consistent care allows us to better understand your animal's unique needs and provide the most effective treatment. While we strive to serve the Tehachapi community, our capacity is limited. We prioritize providing exceptional care to our established, loyal clients. As a token of our appreciation for your ongoing trust, we offer emergency services to our established clients when our doctorS are available. This service is contingent on doctor availability and is not guaranteed.
